Modern? Russia

This blog does have a prohibition on political topics. But I'm going to classify this tidbit under the "Russia" category. And since Russia makes an appearance in the subject line of the blog. I deem this post acceptable.

Stalin's ghost appears to Putin in a dream, and Putin asks for him help running the country. Stalin says, "Round up and shoot all the democrats, and then paint the inside of the Kremlin blue." "Why blue?" Putin asks. "Ha!" says Stalin. "I knew you wouldn't ask me about the first part."

It really does happen!

So all semester, TJ and his pals have been talking about how people get rejection/offer letters from firms they never applied to.

Today. I got one of my own.

Apparently PaulHastings got it into their head (or database) that I had sent them my resume. Nope. Nada. Didn't happen. Oops on their part. Guess they don't have the greatest infrastructure in the world.

Anyway. I'm trying to learn how to be an ethical lawyer. All in one night. Professional Responsibility Exam tomorrow. 8:30am.
